The ultimate development of the precinct will see over 200,000 visitations and 37,000 overnight stays annually whilst generating over 900 construction jobs and 430 ongoing jobs.

Conditions of Hire
Security & Event Staff
To provide a safe environment for all hirers and their patrons QRU will manage the hire of security and event staff in consultation with the hirer.
Should the hirer request that the event be ticketed, then all tickets are to be issued via the QRU’s contracted agent, unless otherwise agreed. However, no other ticketing agent may be engaged to sell tickets at Ballymore except the QRU’s contracted agent.
Ballymore has a stadium caterer and as such all catering requirements must be through the stadium caterer.
Unless otherwise agreed no merchandise outlet is to operate at Ballymore except for the official QRU / Reds merchandise provider.
Due to separate tenant agreements there is liquor licensing to take into consideration with each tenancy. Each tenant is not to serve alcohol to any patron on Ballymore grounds unless covered by the QRU licence, held by the official caterer.
All external persons, organisations or groups hiring Ballymore facilities must produce a Certificate of Currency for a current Public Liability Insurance Policy. The policy must provide cover for an insured amount of not less than $20 million and indemnify the QRU in respect to any claims for personal injury or property brought about by the hirer’s negligence. This evidence must be produced before the venue hire is confirmed.
